Letting nature take its course isn’t always the most effective and economical choice. In many cases, installing artificial grass is the best solution for creating a residential green area. Studio Green offers you a truly tailor-made artificial lawn and guarantees a high-precision professional installation. We design and create gardens of all sizes by installing high-quality artificial grass that only requires minimal routine maintenance.

How to install
In the garden
Step 1
Stripping the soil
This involves the removal of a superficial layer of soil. The operation serves to remove low spontaneous vegetation, to prepare the ground for laying.
Step 2
Laying TNT separation fabric
The operation consists of anchoring TNT fabric to block the potential growth of weeds.
Step 3
Possible installation of containment laminates and manhole leveling
Supply and installation of containment and delimiting laminate for flowerbeds, plants and/or hedges. This serves to contain the outer edge of the stabilized aggregate without mixing with the vegetable soil of the hedges. If there are unsightly manholes and wells in the garden, we recommend masking them by raising or lowering them to the level of the stabilized subgrade. They can also be covered with the artificial grass, cut and glued, thus leaving the possibility of inspecting them.
Step 4
Laying and spreading of stabilized aggregate
Laying, leveling, grading, and rolling of inert material ensure water drainage and improved stability.
Step 5
Laying and fixing of synthetic turf
The artificial grass must be joined at the edges using a special pre-glued bituminous tape. Securing it properly is essential for long-term stability. The turf is fixed in place with special nails along the perimeter and at the joints.
Step 6
Sanding and brushing
The lawn is then sanded with special bagged infill sand (10 kg/sqm) with a grain size of 0.1mm, and in the presence of animals it will be pre-mixed with ‘zeolite’ with a grain size of 0.1/0.3. The final brushing allows the infill sand to be evenly distributed within the fibers of the turf.
How to install
On paving
Step 1
Installation of permeable paving
An optional process that aids rainwater runoff in case of low slope, preventing water stagnation, is the installation of a ‘SHOCK-DRAIN’ draining pavement.
Step 2
Laying TNT fabric
This intervention serves to prevent dirt or debris from ending up under the mat and eventually clogging the drains.
Step 3
Laying and fixing of synthetic turf
This involves the perimeter fixing of the synthetic lawn every 40/50 cm, with special glue dots or a pre-glued double-sided tape, to secure it well to the paving.
Step 4
Sanding and brushing
The lawn is then sanded with special bagged infill sand (10 kg/sqm) with a grain size of 0.1mm, and in the presence of animals it will be pre-mixed with ‘zeolite’ with a grain size of 0.1/0.3. The final brushing allows the infill sand to be evenly distributed within the fibers of the turf.
